Predicted Pricing is part of Smart List — Grocer Pro's store intelligence — and it gives you a realistic idea of what things cost before you're standing at the register. It works at every store Smart List supports.
What you'll see
With a store set, each item shows the current shelf price at that location shortly after you add it. If the item is on sale, you'll see the sale price alongside the regular price.
How accurate is it?
Prices come from the store's own listing for your location, so they're usually what you'll see on the shelf. A few caveats:
- In-store markdowns and clearance stickers can't be predicted.
- Brand matters: "milk" may be matched to a different brand or size than the one you buy. If a price looks off, give it a thumbs-down on the item's details — reports like that make Grocer re-check the store's data.
That's why it's called Predicted Pricing — treat it as a great estimate, not a receipt.
