Grocer can remind you about your list right as you pull into the parking lot.
Turn on arrival reminders
- Make sure the list has a store set — the reminder is tied to that store's location.
- Open Settings → List Settings → Linked Store and turn on Reminder.
- Allow location access when iOS asks. Arrival detection needs Always access so it can work while Grocer is closed.
When you arrive, a notification shows how many items are waiting. Tap it to jump straight into the list.
About your location
Location monitoring happens entirely on your device using Apple's geofencing. Grocer's servers never receive your location, and no location history is stored. See What Grocer can see.
If reminders don't fire
- Check that Location access is set to Always in iOS Settings → Grocer.
- Low Power Mode can delay geofence notifications.
- To avoid nagging, the reminder won't repeat within half an hour, and it stays quiet while a trip is already running or the list is empty.
