Inviting to your list

Send one link and everyone sees the same list — adds, check-offs, and trips included.

Updated July 18, 2026

Grocery lists are better shared. In Grocer, everyone sees the same list at the same time — add an item from the couch and it appears for the person standing in the store.

Invite someone

  1. Open the list and tap Invite — or go to Settings → Members → Invite to List.
  2. Share the link over Messages, WhatsApp, email — anywhere.
  3. When they tap the link, Grocer opens (or the App Store does, if they don't have it yet) and they join the list.

People you invite never need to pay — anyone can join free, there's no limit on how many people share a list, and they see the same aisles, prices, and trips you do.

How syncing works

Lists sync through iCloud using Apple's private sharing. There's no Grocer account for anyone to create; each person just needs to be signed in to iCloud on their iPhone (Settings → your name).

Limits

  • Free: 2 lists, with no limit on how many people you invite to each.
  • Grocer Pro: unlimited lists. Only the list owner's plan matters — the people you invite are always free.

See Free plan limits or What's included in Grocer Pro.
